How We Serve

Our church is committed to serving both our congregation and the wider community. Through fellowship, outreach, service projects, and mission work, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The following ministries and activities reflect our dedication to caring, learning, and giving.

How Our Church Puts Faith Into Action

Faith Formation & Spiritual Growth

  • Women's Bible Study

    A welcoming gathering where women come together for prayer, discussion, and encouragement. This group provides spiritual support and fosters meaningful friendships.

  • Men's Bible Study

    Men meet regularly to study scripture, share life experiences, and support one another in faith and service.

  • Adult Church School

    Adult education classes offer opportunities for learning, discussion, and deeper understanding of scripture and Christian living.

Service & Mission Outreach

  • Sleeping (Plarn) Mat Weaving - Midwest Mission

    Volunteers transform recycled plastic bags into “plarn” (plastic yarn), which is then woven into sleeping mats for people experiencing homelessness. These mats provide insulation and comfort, and completed mats are sent to Midwest Mission for distribution.

  • Cass County CROP Hunger Walk

    Our church actively participates in the annual hunger walk to fight food insecurity locally and globally. We are proud to have been awarded the top fundraising team in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Funds raised support hunger relief efforts in our area and around the world. Learn more at crophungerwalk.org

  • UMCOR - United Methodist Committee on Relief

    We support disaster response efforts through UMCOR. Contributions and special offerings help provide aid to communities affected by hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other disasters.

Music Ministries

  • Chancel Choir

    The Chancel Choir enhances worship through traditional and contemporary choral music.

  • Bell Choir

    The Bell Choir provides special musical offerings, sharing their talents during services and special events.

A Community of Service

Through study, music, mission work, and outreach, our church seeks to live out its calling to serve others. Whether weaving mats, supporting disaster relief, raising funds for hunger programs, or nurturing spiritual growth, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community and beyond.
